You can use Step Up to track your own Individual goals and progress as well as challenge friends, family or co-workers to get healthier with the Step Up Healthy Competition
Individual Play
This simple, web-based program helps you set healthy goals and shows you easy ways to achieve them. Use Step Up to keep track of how physically active you are and how many servings of fruits and vegetables you consume daily. The program is based on recommended goals of taking 10,000 steps and eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.*
Input your daily servings and steps then track your progress and update your profiles as you show improvement.
Also use the resources on the site to learn more about physical fitness and nutrition.
Healthy Competition
With the Healthy Competition feature, there are two ways to play.
- Single Team Play
Play as a single team where you work together toward one goal while incorporating healthy eating habits and physical activity into your lifestyles.

- League Play
Play in a league with multiple teams who compete with each other while achieving healthy goals. For larger organizations, or companies with multiple locations, consider running multiple leagues to simplify competition management.

* Daily steps recommendation based on Physical Activity Recommendation for 10,000 steps from the Surgeon General, as 10,000 step is equivalent to 5 miles/day.
* Daily serving’s recommendation is based on Dietary Guidelines for Americans, published jointly every 5 years by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA).
